Title: Completing Your Setup
Category: Getting Started
Where to find this: Services → Onboarding Wizard tab
The enhanced onboarding wizard streamlines your setup with 8 guided steps. The wizard connects essential services, provisions your site with a professional template, and prepares everything you need to accept customers—all from one interface.
Most steps are required to get your business online, but optional steps can be skipped and completed later from the Services dashboard.
The Setup Steps
The wizard walks you through 8 essential steps to get your business online:
Step 0: Business Profile (Required)
Enter your business name and choose your website address. Your website address (subdomain) will be something like yourbusiness.bizzly.net. The system automatically suggests an address based on your company name, but you can change it.
Website addresses can only contain letters, numbers, and hyphens. We'll check instantly if your chosen address is available.
This step creates your site, so you'll need to complete it before proceeding.
Step 1: Connect Payments (Required)
Connect Stripe to accept card payments from customers. Click Connect with Stripe and follow the secure Stripe setup process. You'll need to provide:
- Your business details
- Bank account for receiving payments
- Identity verification (required by financial regulations)
Once connected, you'll be able to create subscription plans and accept online payments.
Step 2: Connect Calendar (Required)
Link your Google account to enable online booking. Click Connect Google Calendar to authorize access. This lets customers book appointments directly on your website and keeps everything synced with your calendar in real-time.
Step 3: Connect CRM (Required)
Connect your HubSpot account to automatically capture leads from your website forms and manage customer relationships. Click Connect HubSpot to authorize access and sync your contacts.
Step 4: Choose Design (Required)
Select a professional design for your website from our template library. Each template comes pre-configured with pages, services, and content for your industry. See our separate guide on Choosing a Launch Pack for more details.
Step 5: Configure Business (Optional)
Review and customize your business configuration in one consolidated view:
- Services – Edit service descriptions and details
- Subscription Plans – Review pricing and plan features
- Availability – Set booking hours and locations
All of these were pre-configured from your selected template, so you can skip this step and customize later from the Services → Booking Management tab.
Step 6: Add Analytics (Optional)
Add your Google Analytics tracking ID to monitor website traffic. Enter your GA4 measurement ID (format: G-XXXXXXXXXX). This helps you understand how visitors find and use your site.
Step 7: Launch Site (Required)
Review your setup summary and launch your website! This final step shows everything you've configured and provides options to view your live site or access your dashboard to continue customization.
Completing the Wizard
The wizard tracks your progress with a visual progress bar showing completed steps. You can:
- Skip optional steps – Click "Skip for Now" on steps 5 and 6
- Go back – Use the back button to review previous steps
- Save automatically – Your progress is saved after each step
When you complete the final launch step, you'll see options to:
- View My Site – See your live website in a new tab
- Continue to Dashboard – Access your full Services dashboard
Your website is now live at yourbusiness.bizzly.net! You can share the link with customers immediately, or continue customizing your content.
