Managing Your Connections

Managing Your Connections

Where to Find This

Navigate to Services β†’ Integrations tab to manage your integration connections.

Checking Connection Status

1. Access Integrations

Go to Services and click on the Integrations tab.

2. Review Your Connections

Each integration card displays its current status:

ColourStatusAction Needed
🟒 GreenConnectedNo action needed
🟑 YellowExpiring SoonReconnect within 7 days
πŸ”΄ RedExpiredReconnect immediately
πŸ”΅ BlueNot ConnectedSet up when ready

Why Connections Expire

Some integrations use tokens that expire for security reasons:

  • Google Calendar and HubSpot tokens expire periodically.
  • Stripe connections are permanent and do not expire.
  • Google Analytics uses a tracking ID, not a token.

Reconnecting an Integration

If you see a yellow or red status:

  1. Click on the integration card.
  2. Click Reconnect.
  3. Sign in to the service.
  4. Allow the requested permissions.
  5. Your connection will be restored.

Tip: Reconnecting is quick and does not affect your existing data.

What Happens When a Connection Expires?

IntegrationImpact
Google CalendarNew bookings won't sync to your calendar.
HubSpotForm submissions won't create contacts or tickets.
StripePayments continue to work as the connection doesn't expire.
Google AnalyticsTracking continues as it uses a permanent ID.

Disconnecting an Integration

To remove an integration:

  1. Go to Services β†’ Integrations tab.
  2. Find the integration you want to remove.
  3. Click the Disconnect or Remove option.
  4. Confirm the disconnection.

Note: Disconnecting removes the connection but does not delete data already in the external service.

Best Practices

  • Check Weekly: Regularly glance at your integrations to catch expiring connections early.
  • Don't Ignore Warnings: Address yellow "expiring soon" warnings promptly to avoid disruptions.
  • Keep Login Details Handy: You'll need to sign in to each service when reconnecting.
  • Test After Reconnecting: Perform a quick test (e.g., submit a form or make a test booking) to ensure everything works.

Troubleshooting

  • Reconnection Keeps Failing?

    • Ensure you're using the correct account.
    • Try signing out of the service completely, then reconnecting.
    • Verify you have the necessary permissions in that service.
  • Data Not Syncing After Reconnection?

    • Wait a few minutes for the first sync.
    • Try a test action (e.g., new booking, form submission) to trigger the sync.
  • Need to Switch Accounts?

    • Disconnect the current connection first, then reconnect with the new account.
