Where to Find This

Navigate to Services → Customer Reviews tab → Request Reviews sub-tab.

Why Request Reviews?

  • Better response rates than waiting for organic reviews
  • Verified reviews are more trustworthy
  • Control timing - ask when the experience is fresh
  • Build credibility faster with more reviews

Steps

1. Go to Customer Reviews

In the Services section, click on the Customer Reviews tab.

2. Click Request Reviews

Select the Request Reviews sub-tab.

3. Select or Enter Customer

Option A: Choose from your customers

  • Use the dropdown to select a customer. Their details will auto-fill.

Option B: Enter details manually

  • Type the customer's name and phone number in the provided fields.

4. Check the Phone Number

Ensure the phone number includes the country code.

Correct format:

  • +44 7700 900000 (UK)
  • +1 555 123 4567 (US)

5. Send the Request

Click Send Review Request. The customer will receive an SMS like:

"Hi Sarah! Thanks for choosing ABC Cleaning. We'd love your feedback: [link]"

What Happens Next?

  1. Customer clicks the link - Opens your review form.
  2. They leave a review - Star rating and comments.
  3. You get notified - Review appears in your dashboard.
  4. Review published - Based on your auto-publish settings.

Tracking Requests

View all sent requests, including:

  • Customer name
  • Date sent
  • Status (pending, completed, expired)
  • Whether they clicked the link

Request Expiry

Review links expire after 7 days. If a customer doesn't respond, you can send a new request.

Tips for Better Response Rates

  • Time it right: Send requests soon after completing work while the experience is fresh.
  • Personalise when possible: Use the customer's name and reference the service.
  • Don't over-request: One request per customer per service is enough.
  • Follow up: If they don't respond, a gentle reminder after a few days can help.

Troubleshooting

SMS not arriving?

  • Check the phone number format includes the country code.
  • Verify the number is correct.
  • Some networks may delay delivery.

Customer can't open the link?

  • Ensure they're clicking the full link.
  • The link works on any device with a browser.
