Managing Your Pages
Where to find this: Services → Website Editor tab
Your website can have as many pages as you need. This guide explains how to create, organize, and configure them.
Viewing Your Pages
- Open the Website Editor.
- Click the Pages tab in the left panel.
- You'll see a list of all pages on your site.
Each page shows:
- Page Name – The title you've given it.
- Page Slug – The URL path (e.g.,
/about). - Menu Icon – Click for more options.
Creating a New Page
- Click Add Page at the bottom of the pages list.
- Enter a name for your page (e.g., "About Us").
- Click Create.
The new page opens in the editor as a blank canvas. You can now add components to build it out.
Instead of starting blank, you can apply a template to your new page. See the Templates article for details.
Switching Between Pages
Click any page in the list to load it into the editor. Your changes to the previous page are automatically saved.
Page Settings
Configure how your page appears in search results and its URL.
- Click the menu icon (three dots) next to a page.
- Select Settings.
- Update the following fields:
- Click Save to apply changes.
SEO Best Practices
- Meta Title: Keep it under 60 characters. Include your main keyword and business name.
- Meta Description: Keep it between 120-160 characters. Describe what the page offers and include a call to action.
- Slug: Use lowercase letters and hyphens. Keep it short and descriptive.
Good example:
- Slug:
/cleaning-services - Meta Title:
Professional Cleaning Services | Your Business Name - Meta Description:
Book our expert cleaning services for homes and offices. Reliable, affordable, and thorough. Get a free quote today.
Renaming a Page
- Click the menu icon next to the page.
- Select Rename.
- Enter the new name.
- Press Enter or click away to save.
Note: Renaming changes the internal name only, not the URL. Update the slug in Page Settings if you want to change the URL.
Duplicating a Page
Create a copy of an existing page to use as a starting point:
- Click the menu icon next to the page.
- Select Duplicate.
- A new page is created with "Copy" appended to the name.
This is useful when creating similar pages, like service pages that share a layout.
Deleting a Page
- Click the menu icon next to the page.
- Select Delete.
- Confirm the deletion.
Deleted pages cannot be recovered. If you're unsure, create a snapshot before deleting.
Page Order
Pages appear in your navigation in the order they're listed. To reorder:
- Drag pages up or down in the list (if drag-and-drop is available).
- Or, adjust your Navbar component's link order directly.
Special Pages
Some pages have special purposes:
Homepage
Your homepage is typically the first page visitors see. It usually includes:
- A hero section with your main message.
- Key services or features.
- Testimonials or social proof.
- A call to action.
Account Page
If you use the Account Content component, create a dedicated page for logged-in customers. This page displays:
- Their subscription status.
- Booking history.
- Support options.
Thank You / Confirmation Pages
Create pages to show after form submissions or purchases:
- Confirm the action was successful.
- Provide next steps.
- Offer related content or services.
Navigation and Linking
After creating pages, add them to your navigation:
- Select your Navbar component.
- In the settings panel, find Links.
- Add a new link with:
- Label: The menu text (e.g., "About").
- URL: The page slug (e.g.,
/about).
For footer navigation:
- Select your Footer component.
- Add links in the same way.
Tips for Page Organisation
- Plan your structure – Sketch out what pages you need before building.
- Use clear naming – Name pages descriptively so they're easy to find.
- Keep URLs short – Use simple, memorable slugs.
- Write SEO metadata – Every page should have a unique title and description.
- Test your navigation – Preview your site and click through all menu links.
