Creating Bookable Services

Title: Creating Bookable Services
Category: booking-calendar

Create services that customers can book through your website.

Where to Find This

Navigate to Services → Booking Management tab → Services sub-tab to manage your bookable services.

What Are Services?

Services define what customers can book. Examples include:

  • Personal Training - One-on-one fitness sessions
  • Group Yoga Class - Morning flow, evening restorative
  • Hair Services - Cuts, color, styling
  • Consultations - Strategy calls, discovery sessions
  • Workshops - Special events or courses

Each service can have different:

  • Plan access - Which subscription tiers can book it
  • Booking limits - How often customers can book
  • Locations - Where and when it's available

Creating a Service

1. Access the Services Tab

In Services → Booking Management tab → Services sub-tab, you can view and manage your services.

2. Click Add Service

Select the Add Service button in the top right corner.

3. Enter Service Details

  • Name Your Service
Enter a clear name like "Personal Training" or "Group Yoga Class". This will appear on your booking page.

  • Add a Description (optional)
Describe what customers will receive. Example: "One-on-one training session customized to your fitness goals."

  • Set Requirements (optional)
    Specify any prerequisites:

    • Minimum fitness level
    • Required equipment
    • Prerequisite skills
    • Special notes

4. Save Your Service

Click Create Service to save. Your new service will appear in the services list with a "Not Ready" status badge.

Making a Service Ready

A service needs the following before customers can book it:

✓ Plan Access Configured

At least one subscription plan must include access. Go to Services → Booking Management tab → Plans sub-tab to configure which tiers can book this service.

✓ Location Created

At least one location must offer this service. Go to Services → Booking Management tab → Availability sub-tab to create locations and set up your schedule.

✓ Google Calendar Connected

Your calendar must be synced. The Availability sub-tab shows your connection status.

Once all three are complete, the service will display a "Ready" badge, allowing customers to book it.

Editing Services

To update a service:

  1. Find it in your services list
  2. Click the Edit icon
  3. Update the details
  4. Click Save Changes

Deleting Services

To remove a service:

  1. Find it in your services list
  2. Click the Delete icon
  3. Confirm deletion
Warning

Warning: Deleting a service removes it from all locations and plan configurations. Existing bookings will not be affected.

Service Status

Each service shows a status badge:

StatusDescription
ReadyService is fully configured with plan access, a location, and calendar connected. Customers can book.
Not ReadyService needs setup. Missing one or more: plan access, location, or calendar connection.

Next Steps

After creating services:

  1. Configure plan access - Go to the Plans tab to control which subscriptions include each service.
  2. Set up locations - Go to the Availability tab to define when and where customers can book.
  3. Test bookings - Try booking from your website to ensure everything works.

Tips

Start simple
Create 1-2 services first. You can always add more later.

Use clear names
Avoid jargon. Customers should immediately understand what they're booking.

Add helpful descriptions
Explain duration, what's included, and what to bring/prepare.

Group similar offerings
Instead of "Morning Yoga" and "Evening Yoga" as separate services, create one "Yoga Class" service and handle timing via locations/schedules.
