Requirements
Before setting up your email domain:
- ✅ Pro plan subscription
- ✅ Custom web domain configured and active
- ✅ Access to your DNS settings
Steps
1. Go to Email Domain Configuration
From Services, click the Custom Domain tab, then select the Email Domain sub-tab.
2. Click Set Up Email Domain
Click the Set Up Email Domain button to begin the setup process.
3. Obtain Your DNS Records
You'll receive three CNAME records for email authentication:
4. Add Records to Your DNS
Log into your domain registrar and add all three CNAME records. They should be added under the same DNS settings as your web domain records.

Note: Your actual values will be different - use the ones shown in your dashboard.
5. Wait for DNS Propagation
DNS changes can take up to 60 minutes to propagate.
6. Verify DNS Configuration
Click Verify DNS Configuration to check your records.
7. Configure Sender Details
Once verified, set up how your emails appear by filling in the From Email Address, From Name, and Reply-To Address fields.
Why Email Authentication Matters
Without proper authentication:
- Emails may go to spam folders
- Some providers may reject your emails
- Your domain reputation could suffer
With SPF and DKIM:
- Emails are trusted by email providers
- Better inbox delivery rates
- Professional appearance
Troubleshooting
Verification failing?
- Double-check all three CNAME records
- Wait the full 60 minutes
- Ensure no typos in record names or values
Emails still going to spam?
- Email reputation takes time to build
- Avoid sending to purchased lists
- Include clear unsubscribe options
Can't remove web domain? Remove your email domain first, then you can remove the web domain.
