Managing Your Products and Prices

Set up the services you want to sell and choose how to price them.

Where to Find This

Services → Account tab → Products sub-tab

What You'll Need

  • A connected Stripe account
  • An idea of what services you want to offer
  • Your pricing structure (one-time or subscription)

Steps

1. Access Products

Navigate to Services → Account tab → Products sub-tab.

2. Create a New Product

In the Stripe Dashboard:

  1. Click Add Product.
  2. Enter a name for your service (e.g., "Monthly Cleaning Service").
  3. Add a description that customers will see.
  4. Upload an image if you have one.

3. Set Your Pricing

Choose how you want to charge:

One-time payment

  • Customer pays once for the service.
  • Good for: single appointments, one-off jobs.

Recurring subscription

  • Customer pays regularly (weekly, monthly, yearly).
  • Good for: ongoing services, memberships, retainers.

Enter your price and select the billing frequency if it's recurring.

4. Save Your Product

Click Save Changes. Your product will automatically appear as an option on your website.

Tips for Great Products

  • Clear names: Use names customers will understand.
  • Helpful descriptions: Explain what's included.
  • Competitive pricing: Research what others charge.
  • Multiple options: Offer different service levels.

Making Changes

You can edit your products anytime:

  1. Go to Services → Account tab → Products sub-tab.
  2. Find the product in your Stripe Dashboard.
  3. Click to edit the name, description, or price.

Note: Changing a price doesn't affect existing subscribers—only new customers see the new price.

Archiving Products

To stop selling a product:

  1. Open the product in the Stripe Dashboard.
  2. Click Archive.
  3. The product will no longer appear to new customers.

Existing customers with subscriptions are not affected.
